Bronze Sculpture for Sale
His works are born at the border of dream and matter, where resin becomes a mirror of contemporary archetypes.
Artistic background and approach
Karine Langevin (KJL), a French artist born in 1972 in Dijon, develops a unique pictorial practice based on resin and mixed media techniques. A graduate in Fine Arts, she has been refining a personal visual language since 2005, nourished by Pop Art aesthetics and by a constant exploration of materials, light, and color.
Her work explores the surface's capacity to condense emotion. Each piece revolves around a specific theme and unfolds as a visual narrative. The compositions, rich in detail and symbolism, invite the viewer to a gradual, almost immersive reading, where hidden elements emerge like clues along a path.
In her studio in Gif-sur-Yvette, south of Paris, the artist shapes colorful and translucent surfaces, enlivened by glossy reliefs that capture the light and create a dialogue between depth and brilliance. The portrait, and more specifically the female figure, is at the heart of her work: a strong, expressive presence, imbued with meaning and identity.
Recognition and influence
Since 2019, Karine Langevin has been represented by several galleries that support the dissemination of her work. Her works circulate internationally, notably in the United States and Europe, where they appeal to collectors and enthusiasts with their visual intensity and narrative dimension.
Its growing influence is part of a constantly evolving approach, driven by a strong artistic identity and a continuous exploration of the expressive possibilities of resin and mixed techniques.
