Biography

After my A3 artistic section baccalaureate, I asked my father what he preferred. "I want to be either an ethnologist or an architect."

He answered me: "Ah, two jobs to die of hunger I still prefer that of architect."

An architect by training, I finished my studies in 1994.

Since high school where I was already studying painting and art history, in particular with Bernard Capelier with whom I corresponded following my personal exhibition at the Château de la Forêt in 2012, because I never stopped painting .

In a letter, he wrote to me in December 2012: "So you give me the opportunity to get to know your work. Can it be qualified as informal? Yet I cannot think so. All the space of the medium is nevertheless invoked. but too rich in pending forms for the imagination to be provoked or encouraged everywhere. "

The journalist of the time in the brochure presenting the exhibition will write: "... His work marks as much by its technique as by the subtle imaginary escapees it offers."

My first show took place in June 2010 at the Ferme du Vieux-Pays in Aulnay-sous-Bois at the instigation of a friend who had discovered one of my paintings a few years earlier hidden behind a door, which he has kept since elsewhere.

Today I no longer hide my paintings either behind doors or under my bed.
