Jean-François Lemaire

Jean-Francois Lemaire is a French artist born April 19, 1960 in Saint-Dizier. He was a student of the National School of Fine Arts of Dijon.

Fascinated by the mystery of fire, Jean-Francois Lemaire has been practicing his art as a visual artist, glass blower, founder and set designer for the last thirty years. Always focusing his work around the element of fire, his sculptures are made of crystal, glass paste, bronze, ceramic, and recently even in concrete. He likes working on canvas supports.

He runs workshops and give lectures on art history and shares his knowledge of glass through events and theater creations.
