Biography
After 20 years of career in photography, Sandie Carol has been exploring a new artistic expression through street art for 4 years.
She creates works in the streets, in Norway and in France, takes part in numerous urban art events and in 2018 founded the Hardangerfjord Street Art Festival, bringing together many emerging international street artists on the edge of a Norwegian fjord.
Inspired on the one hand by old techniques of photographic coloring and pastel artists (Redon, Degas) and on the other hand by contemporary techniques of urban art, Sandie Carol mixes various materials (photography, pastel, acrylic paint, spray aerosol, gold leaf) to express the dreamy vision of his universe.
Street artist C215 describes his artistic work as follows: “Sandie Carol's work reflects her sensitivity, her poetic vision of the world which she reveals with a pictorial addition while revealing the dreamlike part of reality. "
Sandie Carol is represented by urban art galleries in France (Galerie WAWI) and Norway (NUART Gallery, Gategalleriet, Galleri Günther).
