Biography
Gdaque is a painter, born in Paris and recently moved to a little village in Ardeche. She initially did literary studies at the Sorbonne, and obtained her degree as an associate teacher. Simultaneously, she did several internships at the Louvre School and Ecole nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs. She then became a teacher. In 2000, she decided to devote herself to her passion: painting.
Gdaque paints on canvas and uses bright colors. Her favorite theme is woman, and she depicts this symbolically. Through her paintings, Gdaque materializes her very own fantasies and shares her vision on the feminine aspect, with the spectators. Sensual and angel like, mysterious and unshakeable. Gdaque's characters actually represent the artist's vision on her own status as a woman, therefore her own humanity.
