Nordine El Abbouni (Don)

Donation from the TWA group (True we are) is a graffiti artist from Les Minguettes in Vénissieux in the suburbs of Lyon. It was in 1988 that he started graffiti. Bathed in comic book reading and original New York graffiti, his universe meets these two influences.

He will occupy the position of artistic director for the urban meetings of the villette, and within the framework of the contemporary art biennial of Lyon. At the same time, Don goes from walls to canvases, to transcribe his vision of graffiti (lettering) on the canvas which he approaches like a wall. He also deepens his vision of the world through photography.
