Born in Montreal, Josée Forest has found a place in renowned galleries since 2009. 

Self-taught painter, passionate about bright colors and textures, she intertwines bold, unexpected and surprising colors in her subjects. The structure of the painting is the result of the artist's intuition to challenge transparency, depth and richness of colors. A whirlwind between the contemporary figurative and the abstract, Josée Forest captivates us by integrating in each of her works a touch of hyper realism, a force which has characterized her since its very beginnings and for which she is recognized.
