Biography

After a few decades spent in Paris, I fled to the south in search of light and space. I found both there with, as a bonus, the possibility of finally devoting myself to this art that is said to be “singular”, since everything must be given a name. It is in a way a third life for me, a way of closing the loop after music - my original profession - and writing which came almost naturally to complete a need for expression.

The universe of images and forms is the means to explore another dimension, another way of being and of confronting matter, but it is a whole where each artistic discipline nourishes the other.


I started with very simple collages, more punctuation than real illustration, placed next to the texts, and then all of this took on thickness.

I wanted to play with volumes and I plunged into the game of assemblies.


Everything is resonance.

The picture game is just a word game that sings its music and rhythm to me.

For volumes, I am a forager. I only use salvaged materials and items. My cupboards are cemeteries awaiting resurrection ...
