Born in 1950, Arnaud Labelle-Rojoux is a French artist, essay writer and historian. He graduated from the Beaux Arts, Paris, he still lives and works in the French capital. While working as an artist, he also teaches at Ecole supérieure d’art of Villa Arson in Nice.

In a humorous manner, his work explores art and its boundaries, through an absurd and poetic note, with childish freedom. One can perceive influence of artists like Marcel Duchamp, Robert Rauschenberg, Allan Kaprow and a certain interest for Fluxus movement. He began his career as an artist with performances, expression, not to mention writing by publishing Acte for art, a story around performance.

Arnaud Labelle-Rojoux exhibited for the first time in 1978. His work has appealed to institutions like the Modern and Contemporary art Museum of Nice but also Quai Branly Museum.
