Saba Dolikashvili

Saba Dolikashvili is a Georgian artist born in 2003 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 2025. His work is rooted in symbolic narrative painting. His art is founded on a black-and-white background aesthetic, which serves not merely as a formal choice, but as a powerful instrument for expressing the polar aspects of human nature — good and evil, light and darkness, joy and sorrow. However, Dolikashvili's works are not limited to monochromaticity. Color in his painting is functional — it serves as a means of conveying emotional and narrative balance and enriches the composition with distinctive layers. Dolikashvili creates a personal, symbolism-laden world where archetypal figures — for example, the angel as alter ego and rain as a symbol of memory and melancholy — develop with multiple meanings. His art is closely connected to the context of contemporary art, yet maintains an individual concept and depth.
