Artwho's

Artwho's (real name Jules Garin), is a painter from Guadeloupe. He draws from a young age, a self-taught apprenticeship which involves “doing" and inspired by his mother, also a painter, and an artist uncle (who will become his model).

Attached to sneakers, he will try his hand at customizing a Nike Air Force, which will be a success. He will then be encouraged by his brothers to follow this path, until making pairs of

personalized shoes for footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and rapper Booba. Then he will customize jackets for Fianso, Gims or the rapper Seth Gueko.

It's pop culture that Artwhos is inspired by. Marvel heroes, the manga universe or the Star Wars saga. At the same time, he shapes personal work, more abstract and more spontaneous.

Paintings which he executes, after having “observed a lot" he explains. Taking time, looking, contemplating the reflections of the sun are the first fruits of the action of painting. The process of creation is permanent with him, the ideas bubble, and it is in front of the canvas, that he transcribes what he has in his head, as precisely as possible, knowing that like most artists, he remains eternally dissatisfied.
