Biography
Patrice Delhoume is a French painter, he lives in the Drome region. Trained at the Fine Arts school, he has always been committed to the artistic path.
His work describes his daily life as a painter,his immediate surroundings, by using a variety of techniques like spray paint, oil painting, stencil. His leitmotiv is as follows: "My boxes are filled with: several projects, ideas, oil, spray paint, but a real thirst for painting. I want to implement a "personal measure" which is tactile and sincere, this will be my answer to the disproportionate world. This way, I am able to assert my willingness to paint and turn it into a resistance act and the painting act remains the sole theme for my painting. It therefore translates the expressiveness for anything which means: Man". The artist constantly looks for a real rendering, in keeping with his desires and spends hours working and reworking his canvases, using his inspiration and accidents that take place during the creation procedure.
