Born in 1951, R Ferri, has been experimenting for about thirty years with a delicate support, paper, where he reveals his sensibility.
The artist explores the colors and tries the textures of a variety of materials. He creates evanescent shapes of aquatic and humid tonalities. His landscapes open a new infinite horizon and unfold our imagination. Chance infiltrates under a blurred pictorial treatment. An invitation to dream or to a melancholic contemplation. The erosion added by the passage of time is suitable for daydreaming.
His pieces are part of numerous public and private collections, in France (Center of Art, Saint-Cyprien, Centre Culturel les Tourelles, Pauillac, Museum Daubigny, Auvers-sur-Oise). They have been acquired by municipalities, libraries and business foundations.
