Biography
Nicolas Cluzel is a painter, born in Angers in 1987. He studied at Université de Provence, and obtained a masters in visual arts. He lives and works in Lyon.
Mockery and cynicism underline his paintings. He pays special attention to the work of great masters, this attention is sometimes turned into diversion of key works like « La mort de Marat » by Jacques Louis David, or even « Tres de mayo » de Goya. With the slight difference that in works of Nicolas Cluzel, the expressions are satiric and teasing.
The artist has been doing several personal and group exhibitions in France since 2009 and abroad since 2011.
