Sylviane Selma Courgeau

Trained in stone at the FCMB after studying philosophy, my journey as a sculptor is marked by the Orient, where I have lived for a long time and still work regularly.

Stone, marble and also bronze (creation of an art foundry in 2006) are joined by the fine stones found, cut and polished by me.

My sculptures and monumental, known for their composition of materials, are in private collections or public places in Europe, Syria, Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt. In Occitania, I work on the enhancement of marbles and stones local fine through workshops, exhibitions and commissions.
