Biography
Dahmane's work is characterised by his huge creativity and incredible variety of images. An accomplished photographer, the artist creates breathtaking photomontages, using his own photographs. New technologies allow him to expand his abilities when it comes to montage and collage, propelling his work and his technique to the forefront of the French art scene.
Dahmane pays particular attention to details, the key to visual arts. The artist spends hours creating his work, searching for the perfect balance between desire and passion, languor and fluidity, stoicism and movement. Nothing is left to chance: every element is carefully considered and created with painstaking patience.
The Claude Lemand Gallery, which specialises in contemporary photography, opened in 2015 and dedicated this occasion to Dahmane's artwork.
