Sarah Agathe Salomon

Sarah Agathe Salomon graduated from a Master 2 in plastic arts with fifteen years of professional experience as a visual artist. Her practices are multiple as her curiosity pushes her to conquer new techniques and artistic expressions. Her borrowing is the sum of her artistic achievements that she communicates.

When she integrated her preparatory year in applied art, she discovered the "academic" basics of drawing, she learned the basics of architecture, of product design. She demonstrated the technique of pointillism which is in a way her evolving "trademark". She discovered another way of thinking about art and producing art, a dimension other than pictorial. Questioning is integrated into it.

Her first works in painting were a tribute to Woman, the female body that she very rarely represents by existing natural skin colors. Her drawings are oriented more towards figurative art but also towards surrealism, another perspective that might succumb to reality.

Evolution involves associating the "new" with the "old". Nothing is done without a point of origin. Sarah Agathe stages her achievements as facts emerging from a form of shamelessness. She conceives of the Society without idealizing it too much. Her works bear witness to the resilient and combative woman and the hard-lived Covid-19 epidemic.
