Biography
Catherine Garros is a French artist born in 1954. Trained as a watercolourist, she began painting on oil canvas in 1990. The filial relationship that exists between the artist and his painting is quite indefinable, like an impression of personal feeling, of intimate perception. We admire in his works all the subtlety of the colors, the soft tranquility and the rhythm while lightness of the composition. By contemplating his works, we immediately guess the feminine sensitivity of his precise and gentle hand, transmitting through each painting a real joie de vivre, a cheerfulness and a childish optimism. She is successful by exhibiting at the Colle Gobeau gallery in the 8th arrondissement of Paris then in the Estades galleries. Her paintings are also very present in European and American collections where she exhibits a lot.
