Biography
Since his earliest childhood, Roland Lesluin has had a real passion for art and teaching. He obtained a diploma from ENSAAMA and validated his competition for access to the body of professional high school teachers in Paris in 1978. He then began a career as a drawing teacher in the Paris region before leaving to teach in Guadeloupe.
Travel represents an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the artist. Passing through the West Indies in the 80s, he perfected his art and devoted himself to the exercise of large format painting.
Roland Lesluin is a resolutely figurative painter with a pronounced taste for the appropriation and diversion of the image. His art is comical and sometimes committed.
Installed in Lozère since 1986, he has never ceased to transmit his love of art to a younger generation of artists or enthusiasts.
The artist exhibits regularly in France but also abroad.
