Between figuration and abstraction, personal and universal themes centered on the loneliness of the individual despite a multimediatisation which opens up to the world but not to the other, the painter makes no choice. Stéfan Vivier prolongs in painting the visual acuity exercised by years of shooting. Using unconstrained figuration, he recounts his life and the world as he perceives it. Humor and the second degree allow him to create canvases where the naivety of the drawing and the use of bright or acid colors contrast with the seriousness of the subject.
