Francesco Clemente (born March 23, 1952) is an Italian contemporary artist known for his diverse artistic practice that spans painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture. 

Born in Naples, Italy, Clemente initially studied architecture at the University of Rome before relocating to India in the 1970s. His experiences in India profoundly influenced his work, merging Eastern spirituality and Western artistic traditions.
