Luca Crivello was born in Palermo in 1992. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Palermo, specializing in Contemporary Sacred Art and focusing particularly on figurative painting and the fresco technique. In 2015, he attended the Florence Academy of Art, and in 2017 he obtained his Master’s degree with highest honors.

His artistic research focuses on the human figure, through a form of painting suspended between tradition and contemporary expression, characterized by particular attention to light, materiality, and the psychological dimension of his subjects. Alongside easel painting, he has created frescoes and participated in significant artistic and conservation projects.

He has exhibited in several exhibitions in Italy and abroad, and his works are held in private and institutional collections. He currently teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, while continuing his artistic practice and research.
