Biography

Born in 1928, Sandro Simeoni attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Ferrara. He collaborated as a caricaturist in some editorial offices, then in the early 1950s he moved to Rome where in almost fifty years of glorious career he designed movie posters for about 3000 films ("Per Un Pugno Di Dollari", "La Dolce Vita", "Accattone", "Profondo Rosso", "La Grande Abbuffata", just to name a few!). He worked with the major American and Italian film companies. He died in Rome in 2008.
