Biography
Jan Nicolaas van Munster is a Dutch sculptor and artist whose work appears in many public places in the Netherlands and Germany.
Van Munster's work is minimalist. He explored different mediums such as wood, stone, bronze, glass, among other materials, and also produced light sculptures and videos.
His research focuses on all forms of energy as a metaphor for life with a particular focus on the tensions and oppositions between light and dark or even hot and cold.
