Biography
Gary Custodio is one of the regional artists who thrives successfully in his craft in Kalibo, Aklan. He believes that artists outside of Manila have more breathing space. Artists like him can think more and have ample time to focus on the process of painting sans the distractions that the busy metropolis offer.
A graduate of Bachelor in Fine Arts, Major in Painting, from the University of Santo Tomas, Gary Custodio earned for himself various prestigious arts awards, two of which are championships in both the GSIS Art Competition and Tanaw, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Art Competiiton in 2014 and 2011 respectively. Gary Custodio has prolifically staged solo exhibitions and has regularly participated in various group shows in Luzon, Visayas and Manila.
