After spending several years painting watercolors portraits of musicians, Dan23 opened his own gallery in 2006 in Strasbourg. His first solo shows are performances during which he produces live paintings at concerts and music festival all over the world.
In 2013, Dan23 starts creating in the street more and more, intervening in the urban environment, painting bright portraits, each of them dedicated to a particular song. The "Tour Paris 13" project in which he got involved, eventually brough the recognition of his work. The street-art gallery Mathgoth in Paris offers him the opportunity to make a solo-performance in 2014. In 2014 Dan23 takes part in events such as Djerbahood, In situ art Festival or Nuit blanche.
