Biography
Waldemar ?wierzy (b. 1931- d. 2013)
Studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1947-1952). In 1970, he gave a series of lectures for graphic artists in Havana, at the University of Mexico (1979-1980), and at Hochschule der Kunste in Western Berlin (1985). In 1959, he received the Grand Prix of Toulouse-Lautrec at the International Exhibition of Film Poster in Versailles and in 1970, he was awarded the I award of X Biennale in Sao Paolo. His works may be found in Amsterdam, Berlin, Sankt Petersburg, London, Pozna, Wilanów among others.
