Biography
Maria Szachnowska is a graduate of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. She received her diploma from prof. Maciej ?wieszewski's studio with a suplement in stage design from the studio of dr Katarzyna Zawistowska in 2014. Her works have been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions. In 2007, she was a laureate of the VII edition of the International Art Competition "Great known and unknown - Touluse-Lutrec – chronicler of belle époque " in Rybnik. She is also a finalist of the Grand Prix of Franciszka Eibisch Foundation (2014).
