Biography
Ewa Bajek is a painter and illustrator of Polish origins born in 1959. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Krakow, from which she graduated in 1986. Her teacher was Zbigniew Grzybowski.
Ewa Bajek works a lot with bright colors and light. Contrasts structure her canvases, giving it a sort of solar energy that evokes nature, the tropics and the joy of living. Her work allows the observer to travel, to imagine himself flying to distance, immense and magnificent places, giving him an immediate feeling of completeness and clamness.
Ewa Bajek has orginized several solo exhibitions, in France, Canada, Japan, Norway, Germany, Italy and the United States.
