Biography
Ana Monteiro was born in Braga, in 1990. At the age of 18 she joined the Faculty of Fine Arts, in Porto, and began her artistic training, finishing her master degree in Painting in 2014.
Over the last 5 years has participated in several solo and group exhibitions both in Portugal and abroad, (in cities such as Braga, Porto, Lisbon and São Paulo).
In her artistic project, the painting brings to the fore an intimate and continuous reflection on the notion of identity and its connections with the social environment.
