Biography
Veniamin Stepanov-painter, muralist, graphic artist, sculptor. Born in 1941 in the village of Krasnogorskoye, USSR. In 1963 he graduated from the Ural school of applied arts (Nizhny Tagil).
Since 1964-artist-designer in VNIITE (Institute of technical aesthetics). Creation of toys, ceramics and other industrial designs. Part of the company, certificates of authorship on the form of industrial designs. Foreign exhibitions in Europe.
Since 1969 - work in an Art Fund, development of projects of facades (a gymnasium of it. Diaghilev, 1981), interiors, mosaics, curtains (including in the cinema "salute", 1977)
1982 – Metro 1905 (mosaic, chandeliers, sconces) 1985-printing House (mosaic)
1989-drama Theatre (portal interiors, reliefs, paintings)
2002-monumental composition " Herbs" 2003-monumental and decorative composition "Rowan" 20 years member of the Board of Yekaterinburg branch of the Union of artists of Russia
2005 – project "the City in a blanket"
2006-winner of numerous competitions of small form projects and parks.
Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1969, winner of the Governor's award. G. S. Mosin. Works are in art museums of Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Kurgan, Izhevsk, Ufa, Barnaul, Irbit, Chita, Krasnoyarsk, in private collections in Russia, Italy, the USA, France, Hungary, Austria, Israel.
