Garry Faïf was born in 1942 in Tbilissi, Georgia, USSR. In 1973 he settles in France where he dies in 2002. He studies architecture in Moscow, Beaux Arts in Paris. He is famous for his sculptures and engravings inspired by Soviet Constructivism and Suprematism. He participates in many collective shows and has Solo Shows in Galerie Est-Ouest, Tokyo 1982, Musée de l'Art Russe Contemporain, 1984, UNESCO 1985, Stockholm Art Fair 1986, Sculpture Biennale Copenhague 1988, Galerie Donguy, Paris 1989. In 1990 he is selected for the BUSAN INTERNATIONAL PRINTS EXHIBITION in South Korea where he presents his engraving in Blue, White and Red, "Suprématiste Constructiviste en Bleu, Blanc et Rouge".
