Biography

Artist of Korean origin born in 1956 in Seoul, Young-Sé Lee, arrives very young in Paris where he learns painting in the studio of his father Ungno Lee, before attending the great cottage, then the School of Fine Arts.

His work, resolutely modern, finds its roots in the Asian tradition. Nature, translated in an informal way, mixes plant, mineral, water, earth and light, and dialogues with the richness of the materials and techniques used by the artist.
