Painting is a need that I had to cover in order to give meaning to my life. It is my daily challenge, my inner journey, of knowledge, of introspection. In my work, this interior view takes as a reference landscapes, open spaces, very basic, far, quiet, without more elements than the sky and the earth or the sea, where I see the distance, the depth and the silence that are necessary for me. Over time, I have developed several series of works which are different approaches to the same subject. Simultaneous series that react and influence each other, making them evolve and with the restlessness and the need to continue exploring new lines of work. Works painted with horizontal lines, always horizontal, minimizing and simplifying their content, painting more sensations and emotions than the images, which allows me to take what happens until I find in each work what I call my balance.
