Frédéric Gutierrez Barde

Spanish artist influenced by Japanese culture and meditation, Frédéric Gutierrez Barde presents a series of faces like masks made from collages, but also using different materials and textures, such as marble dust, cement, metal and of course the paper. He also produced characters, such as his Infanta MENINA, a revisited portrait of this colorful character from the Court of the King of Spain. The artist transits between 2 forms of expression, the abstract and the figurative, his work being guided, as in his own life, by the search for harmony.
