Biography
Born in Stockholm to a family of artists, Angelica Wiik graduated with a degree in Plastic Arts and is now famous across Northern Europe for her seductive paintings that glow with female sensuality.
Often selling out completely over the course of a single exhibition, the works reflect the captivating “joie de vivre,” of the time that passes, of the seasons that follow one another.
Music too plays a dominating role in Angelica Wiik's life, she is sensitive to jazz and the works of Edith Piaf. Thus the saxophone, the harp, the violin and the piano are often present in her pieces for they represent as she herself says; a sense of what is pleasurable in life.
