Biography
Conrad MEILI is a Swiss painter and writer, born in Zurich in 1895 and died in Asnières, France, in 1969.
At the start of his career, he painted small landscapes, natures
dead and naked. In the 1930s, he lived in Paris and Saint Nom La Bretèche, then in Japan
until 1949, when he taught painting and drawing. Back in
Switzerland, he took part in the creation of the Salon de l'art libre.
