Biography
Lina Iris Viktor is a Liberian-British artist born in 1987 who splits her time between Italy and the UK. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a BA in film.
Viktor's multimedia practice incorporates photography, painting, sculpture and performance into a vibrant, textural exploration of blackness. She is well-known for her gold embellishments which emphasize the richness of the visual patterns in her work.
Recent solo exhibitions of Viktor's work have taken place in Stockholm, London, New Orleans and New York.
