Miranda Forrester

Biography

Miranda Forrester is a London based, figurative painter. She received her BFA in Fine Art Painting from the University of Brighton in 2019. Forrester uses her paintings to explore the queer Black female gaze and to emphasize the erasure of Black women in the western canon. 

Recent exhibitions of Forrester's works have taken place at Tiwani Contemporary, Lagos (2022); Quench Gallery, Margate (2022) and Jason Gallery, London (2021).
