Sandra Blow (1925-2006) was a British abstract artist known for her dynamic and vibrant works. Born in London, she studied at St. Martin's School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools. In the early years of her career, Blow experimented with various artistic styles before embracing abstraction in the 1950s. She developed a unique technique of applying paint to canvas using a broom, which became her signature style. Blow's large-scale paintings often incorporated bold colors, expressive brushstrokes, and collage elements.
