Biography
Amelia Wood is an English artist born in 1983, who lives and works in London.
She studied at Kingston School of Art and Design, and obtained a BA (Bachelor of Art) in graphic design at the University College for Creative Arts.
Amelia Woods mainly creates abstract and architectural paintings (inspired by her passion for Miami Vice and the American culture of the 80's-90's) in a very colorful palette. The 80's are her main source of inspiration, and in particular the "New Wave" Pop movement, as well as the European culture with Middle-East accents.
Amelia Wood's artworks have been exhibited at the Camden Image Gallery in 2014, and at the Affordable Art Fair of London in 2014 and 2015.
