Yelena Sidorova

Yelena has an MFA in Oil painting and Art history from the Khabarovsk Fine Art & Graphic University, located in the Far East of Russia.  In 1997 Yelena's family relocated to beautiful Colorado. Since then, Colorado has been home to Yelena, her husband who is also an artist, their daughter, and their two beautiful cats. Besides painting, they enjoy hiking and biking. Yelena's paintings are exhibited in national and international galleries and art shows and are being purchased extensively for public and private collections all over the world.
Artist Statement:
Yelena likes working with a wide variety of subjects, such as landscapes, street scenes, people, flowers, and still life. The style of Yelena's paintings is bright and decorative. She strives to convey emotions through her art, to express the poetry of lines and colors through flow and textures of silk and oil paintings
