Description
Albertini’s work is defined by her interest in perception, movement and the relationship between man and environment through dialogues between art and spirituality.
Albertini's minimalist approach to art making is equal parts methodical and dynamic.

Sculptures

The result of an unusual confluence between rigor and intuition, the sculptures create organic forms in close connection with an interior space, emptiness and fullness.

Presentation

Fabian Albertini is a Reggio Emilia and Rio de Janeiro-based Italian artist. In her research Fabian Albertini uses installations and photography to explore the realms of existence and perceptions.

Fabian focuses on reflection, moving beyond the simple observation of works, creating issues in our way of thinking, changing the way something is regarded, understood, or interpreted.

To date, her works have explored the complex of consciousness creating performances interpreted by contemporary dancers inside the environment; the relationship between the human being and the environment through dialogues between art and spirituality, focused on daily transformations, using digital interventions and exploring different materials to give photography new possibilities.
