Description
This artwork features an intricate optical illusion, ingeniously combining geometric precision and vibrant contrast. The composition revolves around a grid of white squares, each seamlessly connected by alternating red and gray lines. The lines extend diagonally, creating a dynamic sense of depth and motion. The meticulous alignment of shapes draws the viewer's eye inward, producing a captivating three-dimensional effect. A striking red backdrop enhances the bold visual impact, providing stark contrast against the monochrome elements. This piece’s unique interplay of color and geometry challenges perception and invites deeper contemplation, making it a compelling study of abstract art.
Tinted Popped wood Frame
Presentation
The artist finds in drawing a way to explore the relevance of detail in the construction of images, objects and spaces.
The repetition of tiny elements such as the line in a drawing, lead to the construction of complex universes where that detail acquires value and becomes the basic unit, like the brick in a wall.
The gesture of the repetition of small elements and the time invested in doing it, is used as a tool to give "value" to the images that are constructed.
