From The No. 3 Series. Chinese ink on Fabriano paper 250 g.  Natural color Frame

The artist finds in drawing a way to explore the relevance of detail in the construction of images, objects, and spaces. The repetition of tiny elements such as the line in a drawing leads to the construction of complex universes where that detail acquires value and becomes the basic unit, like the brick in a wall. The gesture of the repetition of small elements and the time invested in doing it is used as a tool to give "value" to the images that are constructed.

This artwork showcases a stunning 3D geometric sphere composed of intricately arranged tiles in varying shades of blue, green, and teal. The artist masterfully employs a delicate balance of light and shadow, creating a realistic depth effect that draws the viewer’s gaze into the intricacies of each tile. The sphere appears to be delicately suspended, casting an elongated shadow on a pristine white surface, enhancing its three-dimensional illusion. The precise alignment of the tiles forms a symmetrical pattern that guides the eye along its curvature, evoking a sense of harmony and balance. Encased in a simple wooden frame, the piece bridges the organic with the geometric, inviting contemplation of both structure and simplicity. This artwork's unique interplay of color, form, and perspective highlights the artist’s exceptional skill in transforming a flat medium into an illusion of dynamic form and movement.
