Description
Someone has withdrawn from the world.
A patch of light passes through the foliage.
A light filters through the forest.
Woods hide and protect.
The theme of the tree and the forest is inspired by “The use of forests: the temptation of Democritus” by Michel Onfray. It joins that of the Anthropocene, and echoes the wars of the last century and recent migrations.
Continuation of my visual experiments on the position of the artist in action, in front of or in the center of his environment. The monotype favors the practice of wiping, it is erasure that becomes form.
