Description
A black and white collage where form and content confront each other. The silhouette of a firearm structures the composition. Inside this outline, fragments of images interlock. A childlike gaze emerges in the upper left. The gaze is fixed, direct. It crosses the white void of the support.
The rest of the form is composed of organic textures. Tree bark and elements of natural landscapes are discernible in it. This contrast between the suggested violence of the object and the fragility of life creates an immediate tension. The choice of monochrome accentuates the hardness of the line and the precision of the cuts.
The dominant white isolates the central figure. It reinforces the clinical and cold aspect of the staging. The work plays on superposition and void to question the viewer. Every technical detail serves a sharp visual statement here. This 2024 creation uses the collage technique to merge the human and nature in a rigid framework.
