Description
This black and white composition plays on a striking contrast. The silhouette of a firearm serves as a frame for an assembly of disparate images.
The void and the full are intertwined with precision. Inside this rigid form, nature reclaims its rights. One can distinguish a wild landscape, a delicate flower, and the intense gaze of an old man.
The artist uses collage to create a dialogue between the suggested violence of the object and the fragility of the living world. The choice of monochrome accentuates the dramatic tension of the scene.
The visual balance rests on the purity of the white background which isolates the central figure. Each detail of the fur and the vegetation brings an organic texture to the drawing.
Realized in 2024, this piece questions our relationship to wildlife and predation. The graphic work focuses on the precision of the contours and the depth of the grays.
