Description
This elegant triptych, created with a blend of charcoal and vibrant blue pastels, explores the beauty and grace of the female form, adorned with a delicate string of pearls. The three panels depict intimate moments of sensuality and self-expression, as each composition focuses on the interplay of curves, shadows, and the striking contrast of blue gloves. The fluid lines capture the softness of the human body, while the pearls symbolize timeless elegance and femininity. The minimalistic yet evocative use of color draws attention to the natural beauty of the subject, enhanced by the luxurious touch of pearls and gloves. Through this work, I aimed to express both vulnerability and confidence, combining abstract minimalism with classic themes of beauty.
Each drawing measures 36x26 cm.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
