Description
This striking work depicts a dynamic scene of horses galloping through a natural landscape. Made in black and white, it captures the fluid movement and power of the horses with great precision. Every detail, from the tense muscles to the flowing manes, is a testament to the artist's technical skill. The contrast between the clear shapes of the horses and the slightly blurred background of lush vegetation creates a fascinating depth. This harmony between the living and the natural highlights the freedom and energy of the animals. A perfect balance between realism and expressiveness emerges from this impressive composition, transporting the viewer into a timeless and captivating scene.
Presentation
François Gruson is a French artist born in 1965. He lives and work in the North and participated in several group exhibition in Paris and in the North.
Francois Gruson is a self-taught artist. Pencil artist since his childhood, it is only recently that he decided to make drawing his main activity.
Very naturally he adopted the pencil. A simple graphite which allows endless different shades, precise lines or on the contrary blurry and light, a luxury of details, lights and shades but staying sober and elegant.
François Gruson looks at the world with his photographer's eye but isolates his subjects to give them and them alone a sincere and moving tribute, while giving to the drawing a modern and contemporary dimension.
